The Restaurants on Tulum beach all offer one of the most amazing attributes and it is same at all of them. All of the restaurants on Tulum Beach... are ON TULUM BEACH!!! Or just across the beach road on the lush Jungle side!!! This amazing area is so breathtaking that very little else is needed to make it amazing. Although good food really does help.

There are a lot of choices when picking a restaurant on Tulum Beach. There are simple sandwiches and tacos to elaborate fish dishes and paellas to fit every budget. The food on the beach road does tend to be more expensive then the restaurants in Tulum pueblo but that is to be expected.

Hotels in Tulum Pueblo

Hotels in Tulum Pueblo range from kick back hostels and rooms for rent, perfect for budget travel in Tulum and those backpacking through the area, to wonderful boutique hotels that give personal attention. Guests will find a wide variety of hotels in Tulum pueblo located all throughout town. Tulum pueblo has many wonderful shops, restaurant and bars and is also located near some great conveniences such public transportation, banks and pharmacies.

Like the hotels on Tulum beach, the hotels in Tulum pueblo have an awareness of the environment and their impact they have on that environment. Although many hotels in Tulum Pueblo will have air conditioning and other amenities, please do not be wasteful. Our electricity is not only a large cost financially, it is a large cost to the environment. You can do your part by not leaving your air conditioner on while you are out. Try to let some of the Tulum night air cool your room, do not throw toilet paper in the toilet. As is true for almost any location in Tulum, please put paper in the trash cans provided.

Your trip to a hotel in Tulum pueblo is going to be magical and there are so many wonderful ones to choose from.

Check our hotels tab for our experiences at hotels on Tulum beach and the Tulum Town Hotels. Also for information on where to eat in Tulum, check our restaurants tab.

If you would like for Tulum Living to check your hotel, or one of your favorite hotels, please contact us www.TulumLiving@yahoo.com

Hotels on Tulum Beach

Tulum Beach Hotels surround guests with natural beauty and a responsibility and respect of the environment around them. With solar and wind power, many of these hotels offer many of the conveniences and opportunities for fine dining directly on the shores of the Caribbean.

When guests stay at Tulum Beach they can expect a few things. For one, these hotels are usually much more low key then those large mega resorts and hotels in Playa del Carmen. These hotels have an Eco chic design, work with the landscape around them have amenities that focus more on the earth then the person in the room. This is one of the best things about Tulum.

When coming to stay at one of the beach hotels in Tulum you can expect that most places are going to have 24 hour electricity and many will have wireless internet. But these are not as constant as one would sometimes hope. Many… in fact almost all of the hotels on Tulum beach do not have air conditioning. This is because the -almost- constant breeze off of the water and coupled with fans keeps most people perfectly comfortable.

Because the hotels on Tulum beach are set between the lapping waves of the turquoise water and the low growing trees and mangroves of the tropical rain forest, mosquitoes can be an issue. This can be easily solved by using eco friendly bug spray and incense. As with elsewhere in Tulum, the hotels, and our delicate ecosystem can take the amount of paper from the towns restrooms and so every hotel (as well as restaurant, house and shop) will ask you to put toilet paper in the trash can provided.

Given one of the most beautiful and largest off shore reefs in the world, Tulum and the people that call it home work very hard to preserve it.

Many hotels on Tulum Beach offer fantastic restaurants featuring a wide variety of foods. You can also check our restaurants tab for a list of our experiences with Tulum Restaurants.

Check the hotels link at the top of the page for our experiences at some Tulum Beach hotels. For more information about the sorts of hotels you will find in Tulum town check here.
